Together we can make a difference!
Join us in helping affected families recover from the impacts of Hurricane Kay.
Through a large network of local allies, we are identifying the most impacted families to guarantee their food security for a period of up to 45 days. This will allow families to focus their efforts on rebuilding their homes and returning to their economic activities, instead of on finding and accessing food.

How we work
The BCS Food Response Plan (PEREA) is a program focused on strengthening vulnerable communities in the face of storms and hurricanes. Through PEREA, we build a methodological, inter-institutional, and multi-sectoral response to crises.

In this particular emergency, we have decided to provide extended support for the recovery of the most affected families in Comondú and Mulegé. Our intervention will not be immediate, but it will be thorough, sustained, and sharply focused exclusively on the families that need it most. To organize this response, we are reactivating the operational network that ACBCS used during its extensive food distribution effort in the most critical months of 2020 during the economic shutdown due to the COVID-19 pandemic. For more information about ACBCS, visit the following link.

We can't do this without you!
We work in partnership with many diverse stakeholders and we invite you to join this alliance. Your donations to the PEREA fund are tax-deductible in Mexico or in the United States and will ensure that more families from Mulegé and Comondú can receive much-needed support. At ASA, we work with love. From our heart to yours, we are calling on you.
