Privacy Policy

Identity and address of the person responsible

The Alianza para la Seguridad Alimentaria de BCS, AC (hereinafter “ASA”), with address at Calle de la Montura 255, Colonia Camino Real, CP 23088, La Paz Baja California Sur, is the person responsible for the treatment of your personal data, in compliance with the provisions of the Federal Law on Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties.

Personal data subject to treatment

To comply with the purposes indicated in this Privacy Notice, the ASA will treat the following categories of personal data: personal identification data, including your personal image through photography and/or video, personal contact data, academic personal data , personal labor data, patrimonial data, as well as information related to third parties in their capacity as dependents, beneficiaries and/or economic dependents. We inform you that in order to comply with the purposes reported in this Privacy Notice, the ASA, as necessary, may process sensitive personal data related to your current or future physical and/or emotional health, preferences, as well as those that you provide voluntarily in order to provide you with the food and/or health assistance services, training, guidance and/or care that you require.

Purposes

Your personal information will be used for the following purposes, which are necessary for the provision of food and/or health assistance services, training, guidance and/or care that will be provided by BJS:

  • Identify you as a beneficiary of ASA's free food assistance services.

  • Carry out an analysis and evaluation of your history, in order to determine if it is capable of being processed in ASA.

  • Create a file and historical record with the information of your case.

  • Contact you through various means of physical and/or electronic communication in order to provide you with the food assistance and/or services that you require.

  • Provide you with health support, if you require it.

  • Send your data, where appropriate, to other organizations or institutions, other than ASA, with which we have signed collaboration agreements  for the attention of your case.

  • Creation, study, analysis, updating and conservation of your case file with all the information that you provide us.

  • Carry out records, statistics and analysis related to the care of food assistance cases granted by ASA, prior to the personal data dissociation procedure after its publication.

  • Inclusion of your history in our Annual Activity Report.

  • Management, control and administration of all communications between you and ASA.

  • Conducting satisfaction surveys for ASA services.

  • Contact, in case of emergency, the persons indicated as a reference and/or contact person.

  • Advertising on social networks of your attention history, after anonymization of the same.

  • Make publications in physical and/or electronic media in relation to ASA activities.

  • Comply with internal policies and processes.

  • Prepare internal reports and activity reports regarding the activities carried out by ASA.

  • Process your requests for information, complaints or requests for information.

  • Comply with obligations set forth in the applicable regulations.

Transfers

The ASA, to fulfill the purpose(s) described above or others required by law or by the competent authorities, will transfer the necessary data in the legally provided cases, without your consent being necessary, to the following third parties.

  • To competent authorities in the cases legally provided.

  • To other organizations or institutions, when necessary for the attention of your case.

  • Other organizations or institutions in Mexico and/or abroad in order to comply with the purposes reported in this Privacy Notice.

All the previous transfers made for the correct provision of our service, carrying out said transfer covered under the same processes and internal policies of respect for privacy according to which said companies and groups operate.

Your rights

You may exercise any of the rights of access, rectification, cancellation or opposition (hereinafter “ARCO Rights”), as well as revoke your consent for the processing of your personal data and limitation of use and/or disclosure of your personal data by sending an email to the ASA Personal Data Department at the email address legal@asalimentaria.org, where you will be attended to in a timely manner. Means and procedure to limit the use or disclosure of your personal data

You may limit the use or disclosure of your personal data by sending your request to the ASA Personal Data Department at the email address legal@asalimentaria.org. The requirements to prove your identity, as well as the procedure to meet your request will be governed by the same criteria indicated in the previous section.

In the event that your request is appropriate, the ASA Personal Data Department will register it on ASA's own exclusion list in order for you to stop receiving our notifications.

Changes in the privacy notice

The ASA reserves the right to make changes or updates to this privacy notice at any time, to attend to news, internal policies, new requirements for the provision or offering of our services. These modifications will be available to the public through our website https://asalimentaria.org/aviso-de-privacidad
